A Little Enlightenment

Most people know how important it is to savor the little things in life. The view during a car ride, the taste of a chocolate delicacy, the enjoyment of a late night television program. We are all subconsciously drawn to live in the moment and appreciate what we have in life. And each of us knows the importance of doing so.

We are not meant to constantly spew and worry. We are supposed to appreciate what we have now, what is around us. We are meant to live in the now, connect with everything that is going on around us.

When we desire, hate and jealously follows. The only way to override desire, what I believe we all must do to live happy lives, is to live in the now. We must not think about our actions, but to let our actions come naturally without having to think about them. This is the way to reach harmony and allow your spirit to be enlightened.

  1. This is a very Buddhist view. I also think it's important to mention that one should not overindulge, or stop others from finding happiness.
I hope to see more like this in your blog!
